Our Mule Deer herds are in good health with stable populations. The buck to doe ratios are excellent. Serious hunters will find our Mule Deer hunts rewarding and memorable. Our hunt areas consist of scattered pines and junipers located in high rolling hills, draws and canyons with lots of rimrock and sage. Altitudes ranging from 6500-10,000 ft. In other words it's Muley Heaven. Many nice and wide Trophy Bucks are harvested on our Mule Deer hunts. Physical conditioning and weather play important roles in the size of buck
you're likely to harvest.

The Wapiti commonly known as Elk, is a majestic and exciting animal to hunt. Just seeing a huge bull proudly displaying his tall magnificent rack and breaking the cool crisp mountain air with his bugling challenge to take on all comers is enough to send chills through your soul even if you have experienced this as many times as I have. As Earl put it, a hunt he will be reliving with his grandkids. Elk populations in our areas are at peak levels with NO wolf predation or presence. Trophy Bulls scoring 300-398 points. Terrain rugged & beautiful. Forest, grassy meadows and wallows. Altitudes 6500-10,500 ft
Pronghorn Antelope Hunts: Average bucks measure 12-13 inches. Trophy bucks measure
13-16.5 inches. These bucks have excellent genetics with good bases and prominent cutters. Trophies are scoring between 73-85 points. Bucks average 14.5 inches. These hunts are excellent for co-worker groups, family etc. Hunts are spot and stalk for rifle hunters. Shots
75-250 yards. Recommended calibers .243, .308, 25.06, .270, or their equivalents. 100-140 grain bullets. Sight-in 2" high at 100 yards. Bi-pods recommended. Dates from September 10th-November 7th. Blinds on waterholes for archery. Shots average between 20-25 yards. Broadheads minimum 1" width. 45-70lb pull sufficient. Dates of Aug. 15th - Sept. 30th.
Mule Deer Hunts: Average bucks are considered as any buck with visible antler growth. Trophy bucks classified as any buck with three points or better, nice branch antlered bucks are the goal. A good many of the bucks we have taken on these hunts far exceed these guidelines, measuring 24-34 inch spreads having from four to eight points to a side. Average hunts are excellent for everyone. Trophy hunts demand a little more physical effort. Sweetwater Outfitters Combination Pronghorn & Muley hunts are hard to beat. Rifle hunters spot and stalk. Shots 75-250 yards. Recommended calibers .243, .308, 25.06, .270, .280, 30.06 or their equivalents. 100-140 grain bullets. Sight-in 2" inches high at 100 yards. Bi-pods recommended. Dates from October 1st-31st. Archers hunt from blinds in mornings, stalk rimrock cliffs in the afternoon. Shots 15-30 yards. Broadheads minimum 1" width. 45-70lb pull sufficient. Dates from September 1st-30th.
Elk Hunts: Trophy bulls the main objective on this hunt. Bulls sporting five and six points a side. The Trophy bulls in our areas are scoring 300-398 points. Physically demanding if weather is mild, less demanding if weather is producing snow. Rifle hunts are spot and stalk. Shots 40-75 yards in timber, 100-300 yards in clearings. Recommended calibers .270, .280, 30.06 or their equivalents. 130-180 grain bullets. Magnums unnecessary and not recommended unless client is accustomed to recoil and has opportunity to shoot on regular basis. Sight-in 2" high at 100 yards. Bi-pods recommended. Dates from October 1st-31st. Archers locate bulls through bugling during the rut along with spot and stalk. Shots 15-40 yards. Broadheads minimum 1"width. 60-85lb pull sufficient. Dates from September 1st-30th.
Combination Hunts: You may book our hunts singly or in any combination you choose.
Varmint Hunts: Coyote, Fox, Prairie Dogs, and Jack Rabbits may be taken during any of the above hunts. No additional charge. No license required. If client fills their license tags early and would like to specifically hunt varmints an additional daily charge will apply per vehicle.
Upland Bird Hunting/Fishing: For those filling their license tags early, we also have Sage Grouse, Chukar & Hungarian Partridge in our Pronghorn areas, Blue & Ruffed Grouse in our Deer and Elk areas. Fishing for Rainbow, Brown and Cutthroat Trout is also available in the neighboring reservoirs, rivers and streams. River float trips available. These additional activities are tentatively offered on a limited basis. These services are not included with your big game hunt and are accompanied with an additional daily charge.
Wyoming has the largest number of Pronghorn Antelope to be found Anywhere! Three quarters of the entire Worlds Population of Pronghorns are located within a 125 mile radius of our headquarters. Within Wyoming are certain areas that provide the best Buck Antelope. These are the areas we hunt, giving you multiple bucks from which to choose.
